This can be complex and expensive, but it doesn't have to be. The solution is a Key Management System (KMS), which also offers additional benefits.

aspectra's KMS is a managed service based on the HashiCorp Vault Enterprise product and secured by a Securosys Hardware Security Module (HSM). The HSM manages the cryptographic keys required to operate the Key Management System.

Standardised workflow for the distribution and central lifecycle management of cryptographic keys across different systems, applications, devices and infrastructures.

VM-encryption

Provision of cryptographic keys for transparent encryption of virtual servers. The use of KMIP (Key Management Interoperability Protocol) is supported.
